2005 Eurovision Song Contest favourites, Wig Wam have confirmed that they will return to Nottingham's Rock City to perform this summer headlining the Thunderground Festival. The band, who provided Norway with an automatic qualification for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest final will be bringing some special guests with a Eurovision connection of their own.

Wig Wam return to the venue where they performed their first British gig last year. Back in October, they were the surprise of the night as they took the crowd by storm, winning the best audience responce of the night. There are likely to be additional dates added for the UK, where Wig Wam still plan to tour later this year.

The Poodles will also perform as special guests of the Norweigan band. The group from Sweden finished 4th in the 2006 Melodifestivalen with Night of passion, a song penned by fellow Melodfestivalen favourite, Sonja Alden.

Wig Wam have also been confirmed as one of the headline acts at the Loud Park Festival, one of Japan's biggest rock festivals where they will be headlining along side Marilyn Manson on October 20th.
