Spanish fan site eurovision-spain has revealed the results of its Internal Selection survey where Pablo leads the poll as the hot favorite act to represent the country in Vienna. This has caused a mediatic storm in Spain leading to most of the Spanish media dedicating articles and headlines to the Spanish artist as a potential candidate to represent Spain at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
Vertele, Diario Sur, FormulaTV, La Vanguardia, El Economista, Vanitatis, El Norte de Castilla are among the many Spanish web-portals and newspapers reporting the news.
Pablo released his brand new single Pasos de cero yesterday, which will be included in his forthcoming new album Terral, scheduled to be released on 11 November. It will be Pablo’s 4th album after Pablo Alborán (2011), el directo ‘En acústico‘ (2011) and ‘Tanto‘ (2012).
TVE, the Spanish national broadcaster is yet to reveal its plans for Eurovison 2015, hence it is not yet clear if Spain will opt for a national selection as was the case in 2014 or an internal selection as in 2012 and 2013.
The 2015 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held at the Wiener Stadthalle on 19, 21, 23 May in Vienna, Austria.
Will Pablo follow the footsteps of Ruth Lorenzo, Pastora Soler and El Sueño de Morfeo and fly the Spanish flag in Vienna?
