Last weekend, the second season of Sztárban sztár, the Hungarian version of Your face sounds familiar, kicked off on the Hungarian television channel TV2.
A total of 12 celebrity artists have signed up to take part in the second season of Sztárban sztár; 6 male artists and 6 female artists. Over the course of 8 shows, the competing artists will be challenged to perform as a number of different iconic singers and artists where they will be aiming for a place at the final of the competition. The winner of the competition will be crowned “Hungary’s most versatile performer“, following in the footsteps of the previous Sztárban sztár winner Bereczki Zoltán.
Artists competing in this year’s Sztárban sztár include 4 former A Dal participants – Kökény Attila (A Dal 2012), Keresztes Ildikó (A Dal 2013), Pál Dénes (A Dal 2014) and Vastag Tamás (A Dal 2014). In the first show, both Kökény Attila and Pál Dénes were selected to imitate 2 past Eurovision artists. Find out who they were selected to imitate below!

The winner of the first show was Kökény Attila with his impersonation of Conchita Wurst where he received a total of 39 points from the judges. Sztárban sztár was Hungary’s second most viewed show of the week, shortly following the X factor.
