Ott Lepland, who represented Estonia at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, has become a star artist with his most recent single.
Earlier this year, former Estonian representative Ott Lepland (Estonia 2012) released the music video to his latest single Jäädagi nii. Since the release of his single, Jäädagi nii has reached success amongst many Eurovision and Ott fans. On one chart site, named EurovisionOnTop, Ott has entered his seventh week at the number one spot, as voted for by the public, beating fellow Estonian Eurovision participants Getter Jaani (Estonia 2011) with her song Rannamaja and Tanja (Estonia 2014) with her song Forevermore.
Ott and Jäädagi nii has also reached the top position for a second week in the Raadio Elmar charts. Other Eurovision artists featured in the chart show include Tanel Padar (Estonia 2001), Birgit Õigemeel (Estonia 2013) and Getter Jaani. Will Ott’s chart success continue? Ott Lepland – Jäädagi nii
In 2012, Ott was selected to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest with his song Kuula in the host city of Baku. Qualifying from the semi-final in 4th position, Ott and Estonia finished in 6th place at the grand final with a total of 120 points.
