ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster has announced and revealed the names of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest host city and venue.

The 2015 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held at the Wiener Stadthalle and in Vienna on 19, 21 and 23 May.

Eurovision fans will be pleased to know the name of the 2015 Eurovision host city after all the anticipation and excitement surrounding the announcement, they will now be able to book their flights and accommodation and plan their schedule for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

 

A total of 3 cities with their respective venues were in contention to host Europe’s favorite television show- the Eurovision Song Contest: Vienna with its Wiener Stadthallen, Graz with its Stadhallen Graz and Innsbruck with its Olympiaworld. After a tough and tight competition the honour of hosting the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest has been awarded to the Wiener Stadthallen and Vienna.

Austria will be holding the contest for the 2nd time thanks to Conchita Wurst’s grand triumph at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen with her entry Rise like a Phoenix.
