The Netherlands: The Common Linnets meet Conchita Wurst in Klagenfurt

At this years’ Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark, The Netherlands earned the second place in the grand final, thanks to the duo Ilse DeLange and Waylon under the name of The Common Linnets, with their song Calm After the storm. The winner of the evening was Austria’s Conchita Wurst with her song Rise like a Phoenix. Now, the winner and the runner-up will meet each other again, performing at the Starnacht am Wörthersee in Austria.

The Starnacht am Wörthersee is an annual festival produced by Austrian broadcaster ORF and ipmedia. This year, the festival will celebrate its 15th jubilee. National and international artists will perform at the festival, this year including The Common Linnets from The Netherlands and Austria’s own ESC-winner, Conchita Wurst.

The Starnacht am Wörthersee festival will be held on Saturday July 19th 2014, at the Wörtherseebühne, “Die Sonnenbucht”, in the city of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Karinthia, Austria. The festival will be hosted by Alfons Haider.
