Sweden: Eurovision artists to sing for Crown Princess Victoria

Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria has turned 37 this week and since her second birthday in 1979, the special day is celebrated around the country as ‘Victoria’s Day’.

Traditionally, an award for major Swedish sporting achievements is given on Victoria’s Day, but nowadays the celebrations include much more events such as races, fairs and performances by famous Swedish artists.

At this year’s event we will see Sanna Nielsenwho recently ended up 3rd in the Eurovision Song Contest, Måns Zelmerlöw, Lill Lindförs, Alcazar, Panetoz and many more Melodifestivalen artists.
