Molly Smitten-Downes, who represented the United Kingdom at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, has recently performed at the world’s largest music festival – Glastonbury.

Earlier this year during the United Kingdom’s Eurovision entry launch show, Molly Smitten-Downes revealed her ultimate dream was to perform at the Glastonbury Festival during her musical career. A few weeks after performing at the Eurovision Song Contest, it was revealed that through BBC Introducing, the same platform which offered Molly the chance to participate at the contest, Molly had been given the opportunity to perform at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Last Friday, Molly took to the Glastonbury stage to perform some of her own songs including her Eurovision entry Children of the universe. As seen above, the first song Molly performed on the stage was her song OCD, however the 2014 UK representative was forced to end her stage performance early due to a power cut caused by a storm.

This didn’t stop Molly though as during the power cut, she then went on to finish her Glastonbury performance off stage acoustic style in the centre of the audience. You can view a short clip of Molly’s Children of the universe performance above via the official BBC Introducing Instagram page.
