Raphael Gualazzi, the Italian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, has released the dates for the Italian leg of his ‘Welcome to hell’ tour.

He has so far taken his tour across Europe, and as far as Canada and Japan, and on June 26 he will begin his tour of his home country, Italy.

Raphael will be accompanied on the tour by nine other musicians, including three backing singers with music ranging from jazz, the style Eurovision fans will best know him for, blues, gospel and rock.

Raphael finished second in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, 32 points behind first place with his entry Madness of Love. 

The result was Italy’s tenth top three finish in the contest and their best result since their return to the contest after a 14-year absence.

The country has won the Eurovision Song Contest on two occasions, and most recently in 1990 when Toto Cutungo topped the leader board with Insieme: 1992.
