Twenty-two artists are candidates to the best song of 2014 in France. Among them we can find the Eurovision artist Patrick Fiori.
The French broadcaster TF1 is currently looking for the best French song of the 2013-2014 season. The prize, La Chanson de l’Année 2014 will be granted to one of the 22 songs that have been selected by TF1. The audience will decide which of them is the best song by placing their votes in the show’s website.
One of the chosen singers is the French entrant in the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest, Patrick Fiori. His song Elles is one of the running titles.
Other artists in the run for the award are Alizée, Stromae, Zaz, Bénabar and Christophe Maé.
The Song of the Year 2014 will be revealed during a show on 14 July, which will start at 20h55 CET. The show will feature too an homage to the French artists Patrick Bruel and Rénaud, and Mika will appear together with his Kendji, his pupil at The Voice 3.
