Before fans use to say how you should have performed in order to win…now fans can do it for themselves. OGAE Finland are launching 'Eurostar', a special competition for Eurovision Song Contest fans in Helsinki. The event will be held 1t 11pm on Tuesday 8th May at Royal Onnela in Helsinki. The winner will be the EUROSTAR of 2007 and keep the title until the Eurostar 2008 competition to be held in next year's Eurovision Song Contest host city.
Fans wishing to enter must sing one Finnish entry and one Eurovision Song Contest winner from a list to be confirmed later this week. The event is sponsored by Kalevala Jewellery & Warner Music Finland and the result will depend on best looks, choreography, costumes and singing.
The jury will be a mix of invited special guests and audience members. The top 3 entries will receive real valuable prices and all 10 finalists won´t leave empty handed either.
The first ten candidates to enter will be accepted, and a reserve list will be kept. Signers from Greece, Finland, Italy, Belarus & Poland have already entered. To join them, you need to email [email protected] for more details. Also, if you want to design the first Eurostar logo, send your design to the same address.
