During the week, the esctoday team will be interviewing the participating acts that are competing in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. This time, we had a little chat with Cleo and Donatan from Poland.

Cleo & Donatan talk to esctoday.com

Donatan is a producer from Poland, he began working in the music industry twelve years ago. His debut album, Brudne południe, was released in 2007. Five years later, he released Równonoc, a modern hip-hop album with a hint of an influence of Slavic sounds and some rap elements.

Cleo, is a hip-hop singer – before she was singing in a gospel choir – Soul Connection, then she auditioned for the first season of the Polish X-Factor.

Last year, Cleo and Donatan started working together, and released their first single My słowianie, produced by the latter. The song reached #2 place on the Polish charts. The song has almost 42 million hits on YouTube right now.
