Almost 11 months after the shutdown of ERT by the Greek Government, NERIT the country’s new state broadcaster was launched today at 1700 CET, through the frequencies of DT, the interim broadcaster.

NERIT is the final stage of the transition from the previous national broadcaster ERT. Since last September, DT has been the interim broadcaster airing a temporary daily program with news and few other productions.

NERIT consists of one TV channel and two Radio channels, a news site and the respective social media.

The new Greek broadcaster will air the three live shows of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest from Copenhagen.
