The three time Maltese Eurovision representative Chiara will be performing a special concert at the Euro Café on May 4th in Copenhagen to premiere her new song Mermiad in love.

As well as performing her new song, the singer will also sing some of her best known songs to the fans.

Chiara is signed to record label Hands Up Music. For the last two years she has been working and releasing new material. Below are two of her new songs.

Mermaid in love is written by Örlygur Smari, Petur Örn and Valgeir Magnusson the authors of last year’s Icelandic entry Eg á lif.

After Copenhagen, Chiara will be traveling in the summer to perform with Icelandic DJ Valgeir Magnusson.

Chiara has competed in the Eurovision song contest three times. All of them were for Malta. Her first participation was in 1998 in Birmingham where she performed the song The one that I love. She came in third place. Then in 2005 she entered the contest again for Malta with the song Angel this time she did even better by finishing 2nd. The third and most recent attempt was in 2009 in Moscow. That year she sang the song What if we? She finished 22nd.
