Carl Espen, Norway’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, has performed an acoustic cover of Katy Perry’s Roar.
Carl, who will perform his song Silent storm at this years contest, performed the song at a studio at the Norwegian broadcaster, NRK. The cover version also features Josefin Winther, cousin of Carl and the songwriter of his Eurovision entry.

Norway currently sits as the fourth favourite to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, with the country set to perform third in the second semi-final on 8 May.
Last year Norway finished fourth at the 2013 edition of the contest, where Margaret Berger picked up 191 points with her song I feed you my love.
Norway has won the Eurovision Song Contest three times, most recently in 2009 when Alexander Rybak scored a record-breaking 387 points. They also hold the record for the number of last place finishes, having ended last on 11 occasions.
