The Polish broadcaster TVP announced officially that a national final will be held in January 2003 to select the Polish representative for the Eurovision Song Contest, later that year in May. A specific date has not ben set yet.

Although songs in every language can be send in, TVP prefers English songs. Disappointing results in the past may have brought TVP to this decision.

Just like in other countries, the Polish television viewers have the option to give their vote by telephone and by sms this year.

The deadline to submit songs is November 15. The rules are available in Polish on the special TVP Eurowizja website.
