Aram Mp3 the 2014 Armenian Eurovision representative has just finished filming his Eurovision presentation postcard.

DR, the Danish national broadcaster has sent several television crews to all the 37 participating countries in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in order to film the presentaation postcards. The theme of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest presentation postcards will feature each of the 37 participating acts making their respective country’s flag with their own hands.

Aram Mp3 is currently the bookie’s hot favorite to win the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest next May. The Armenian representative finished filming the Armenian postcard in Yerevan yesterday. Aram’s official Eurovision videoclip has achieved more than 1.3 million views on the Eurovision Song Contest’s official youtube channel.

Christian Bagger, director of the postcard: “ The idea of the postcard is to prepare Armenia’s flag, so we chose three different symbols that are typical for Armenia. Aram Mp3 prepares the flag, then takes the picture of it, he is happy with what he has done and its outcome. Right after it he goes on the stage in Copenhagen and hopefully wins the contest”.

AMPTV welcomed the Danish crew in true Armenian style! DR’s crew were pamperewd with the best of Armenian hospitality, cuisine and warmth. The Danish team were in Yerevan for a total of 3 days where they enjoyed the great atmosphere of the majestic capital.

Thomas Hartebeck, member of DR’s crew said that the the location for the shooting was chosen beforehand. The crew had the chance to see photos of the  waterfall on the white stone staircase in Yerevan before flying to the Armenian capital. The Cascade, as this special waterfall is called is one of Yerevan’s hottest hotspots and landmarks wehere locals meet. A favorite hangout place for Yeravan’s inhabitants.

Aram Mp3 was selected to represent Armenia at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest via an internal selection. He will fly the Armenian flag with his entry Not Alone. Armenia will open the First Semi-final of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest on 6 May.

Armenia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with Andre and is yet to win the contest. Armenia’s best result at the Eurovision Song Contest is held by Sirusho’s 4th placing in 2008 with Qele Qele. Armenia has competed 6 times in Europe’s favourite television show and has achieved great success, hence placing in the TOP 10 in the final 5 times (2006-2010).
