Denmark: De Forest predicts a Norwegian victory in May

Emmelie de Forest, the winner of last year’s Eurovision Song Contest predicts that Norway will win in May with the song Silent storm by Carl Espen.

The entry has been well rated by fans and bookies who have placed Norway the second favourite to win behind Aram MP3 from Armenia. These are the odds according to oddschecker. Espen comes from Bergen in Eastern Norway and works as a doorman.

Speaking to DR, the Danish national broadcaster, Emmelie had this to say.

I think Carl Espen has an excellent song and an incredibly beautiful voice. I think Carl Espen is going to win it all in Copenhagen. – Emmelie de Forest

Today marks 50 days until the first semi-final in Copenhagen. The head of delegations meeting will be held today where all 37 songs will be available to listen to.

The winner of this year’s contest will have the honour of hosting the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in 2015. Earlier today the EBU revealed the preliminary dates for the contest which are 12, 14 and the 16th May 2015.
