Tonight, the final of Unser Song für Dänemark took place in Germany as the country selected their representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. After three rounds of voting, Elaiza were declared the winners  with their song Is it right and will now fly the flag for Germany in Copenhagen this May.

Elaiza won the final after making it through three rounds of voting. In the first round they qualified along with Unheilig, Santiano and MarieMarie, meaning Das Gezeichnete Ich, Oceana, The Baseballs and Madeline Juno were all eliminated.

The four qualifiers from round one took to the stage for a second time to perform their second entries and it was Santiano and MarieMarie who were eliminated from this stage as Germany chose their top two.
As well as choosing their top two acts, the song for each act was also decided and the German public were given the choice of Unheilig’s Wir sind alle wie Eins or Elaiza’s Is it right.

The two acts performed their songs once more before Elaiza were announced as the winners of Unser Song für Dänemark 2014 and the German representatives for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. You can see the winning song below,
