Tonight, the Bulgarian national final was held. The televoters have decided that Elitsa Todorova & Stoyan Yankulov shall go to Helsinki with their entry Voda (Water). The song was chosen out of 12 contestants, nine of them had had to qualify in the semi final. Voda was one of the wildcard entries.

The top three were announced:

• 31376 votes for Elitsa Todorova & Stoyan Yankulov – Voda (Water)
• 5232 votes for KariZma – Fool for you
• 4345 votes for Sofi Marinova & Ustata – Ya tvoya

Bulgaria will be hoping to qualify to the final for the first time since its debut in 2005 with Kaffe's Lorraine. in 2006 Bulgarian hopes were also dashed at the first stage with Mariana Popova's Let me cry only ending 17th in the semi.
