The semi-final round for the Belgian national selection is now over. On 9 March 2014 the two last finalists were selected from the four candidates that participated in the 3^rd semi-final.

Nelson, Axel Hirsoux, Tisha Cyrus and Bandits were the last four semi-finalists of Eurosong 2014. Tonight they performed the songs they would wish to sing for Belgium at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen.

Bart Peeters, Piet Godaert, Jef Martens and the winner of the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest Ruslana, as members of the jury, gave their impressions of the songs after each performance. They also rated them, resulting in the following chart:

1. Axel Hirsoux – Mother (99%)
2. Bandits – One (90%)
3. Nelson – Wild side (83%)
4. Tisha Cyrus – Kitty cat (68%)

The televoters were given some time to cast their votes. During those minutes the audience could also enjoy act of the Belgian representative in the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest Clouseau.

Once the votes of the public were counted, the final chart was not changed:

1. Axel Hirsoux – Mother
2. Bandits – One
3. Nelson – Wild side
4. Tisha Cyrus – Kitty cat

Therefore, Axel Hirsoux and Bandits will join Eva Jacobs, Udo, Sil and Yass on 16 March at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp for the Eurosong 2014 Grand Final. The Belgian representative will be selected at that stage of the competition among the six qualifiers of the semi-finals.
