The 5th Gala of Mision Eurovision ( The Semifinal) was held today where 20 candidates battled their way out ,in their quest to qualify for the grand final of Mision Eurovision. 5 candidates were shorlisted from the 20 competing. One of them will represent Spain in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki.

Paula Vazquez presented the 5th Gala of Mision Eurovision (The Semifinal). TVE has really worked hard and put in a lot of effort in their Eurovision preselection this year. 20 candidates competed in tonight's gala showing off their best vocal skills in their quest to qualify for the grand final of Mision Eurovision scheduled to be held on the 24thFebruary in Madrid. 5 acts were shortlisted from the 20 competing tonight. One of these 5 will represent Spain in Helsinki.

3 candidates werechosen via public televoting and 2 were chosen by the Mision Eurovision jury. The 5 lucky candidates that have qualifed for the Mision Eurovision final are:

• Yanira Figueroa (Telvoting) 162 points
• NASH( Televoting) 159 points
• Merche Llobera (Televoting) 129 points
• Mirela ( Jury)
• Nazaret (Jury)

These 5 acts will perform the 5 candidate songs that are competing in the grand final. Each act will get the chance to perform all 5 songs at the grand final of Mision Eurovision. This means that each song will be performed 5 times, once by each candidate. The songs competing to represent Spain in Mision Eurovision are the following:

• I Love You Mi Vida
• Tu Voz Se Apagara
• La Reina De La Noche
• Busco Un Hombre
• Una Lagrima

Next Saturday the 17th of February, a special gala of Mision Eurovision will be held to present the 5 candidate entries officially to the Spanish public, along with the authors and composers. There will be many surprises in store for everyone! One of them being Carola who has been invited to perform at the 6th Mision Eurovision Gala.
