Tonight: Norway decides for Helsinki

by Marcus Klier 101 views

Since Norway has hosted the Eurvision Song Contest in 1996, their results have been like a roller coaster: In fact, Norway has finished in the second half of the scoreboard every second year since then. According to that “rule”, the winner of tonight's Melodi Grand Prix should do quite well in Helsinki, as Christine Gulbrandsen finished 14th in 2006 with Alvedansen.

The show

Two semi finals were held on 27th January and 3rd February with six participants each. The top three out of each heat moved forward to the final while the 3rd and 4th placed songs have qualified for the second chance show which was held yesterday. With another two songs reaching the final, eight music acts will compete tonight.
