Shortly before the semi final started, Barry Viniker of esctoday.com presented Mihai of Romania with the esctoday.com 2006 Song of the Year award. The event was filmed by Net TV and will be shown on Lejn il-Eurovision, Malta's best Eurovision Song Contest news and report show. The show will be webcast so all our our readers will be able to see Mihai receive the award as voted for by you, the readers and members of esctoday.com. More details about this will follow later.
