TVE will be announcing today the names of the 5 songs that will compete in the Spanish final, in their quest to represent Spain in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest. Online voting ended last night, thus enabling the public to shorlist the 10 competing entries to the final 5.

Excitementand suspense are in the air as the Spanish national broadcaster will be revealing today which will be the 5 songs that will battle their way in the grand final of Mision Eurovision scheduled to be held on the 24th of February in Madrid.

Online voting ended last night. The public was invited to listen to the entries and vote for their favourites on the official website www.misioneurovision.es , which in fact has become very popular among Eurovision fans, both Spanish and European. The website has received more than 336,000 visitors so far and promises to increase this amount in the coming weeks.

Initially the names of the 5 finalist entries were scheduled to be announced on Tuesday the 30th of January, but due to the fact that all the forthcoming galas will be rescheduled from Tuesday to Saturday theofficial announcement will be made today.
