French songs selected: Special event on 7th February

The ten French songs have been selected and short clips presenting the songs and the performers have been recorded in studios. A special event will be held on 7th February with all 10 artists performing their own entry live. For the first time in the history of the French selection a Compilation CD with all the 2007 entries will be released. readers of esctoday.com are exclusively invited to attend the event in Paris.

10 songs have been selected by the five French boradcasters co-operating tofind the French 2007 Eurovision Song Contest entry. Each of thetenclips will feature the song performed by the artist and each clip benefits from a special set in order to match thesound of each song.

The clips will be aired on every channel of France Television – France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5 and France Ô in a matter of days. Bruno Berberes, Head of French delegation and full time artist manager and artistic director, was in charge of the song selection processand finding the songs and proposing them to the France Television group. An internet web site with the songs will be on line and for the first time in the history of the French selection a Compilation CD with all the 2007 entries will be released !

A special Show Case with all the 10 artists performing live their own entry, will be held on February 7th at the Reservoir Clubin Paris. The show is reserved for the press members and partners only . But as as special treat from the French delegation : 50 ESC fans, French or from other European countries, will have the possibility to attend the showcase in the evening.
