The Romanian artists for the National Final 2007 were only announced a few minutes ago, but already TVR has confirmed that two artists, Andreea Bălan (who had 2 songs in) and Mandinga, have withdrawn from the semi finals.

The reason as to the artists' withdrawal is as yet unknown. However, TVR has already announced thethree songs that will take their places. These songs will be:

• Nico – Love is all you need
• Wassabi – Do the tango with me
• Loco Mondo – Liubi liubi I love you

This means that Nico hastwo songs as a solo artist in this year's Romanian selection, while Wassabi will also sing a second song in the contest with Morandi. You can read more about the other contestants here and here.

The Romanian semi finals will be held on the 27th January and the 3rd March, with the final on 10th March.
