The little principality of Andorra will announce its entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 on next Monday, the 15th of January 2007, according to ATV News this evening. 2007 will mark the 4th time of entering for the tiny country lodged between France and Spain, now the smallest country in the competition due to Monaco's withdrawal.

As reported earlier by esctoday.com, Andorran broadcaster RTVA received 82 songs for the 2007 contest, as well as proposals by over 200 artists. One of those artists was rock band Anonymous, who also entered a rock song with Catalan verses and an English chorus. Whether or not Anonymous was successful in their bid for Helsinki will become apparantly in just 3 days!

Andorra finished bottom in the 2006 semi with Jenny's Sense uu, receiving just 8 points, all of themfrom neighbouring Spain. In 2007, they will be hoping to qualify to the final for the first time after Marta Roure (2004) and Marian van de Wal (2005) also failed to end in the top 10 of the semi.
