Withdrawal from the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest

The Croatian national broadcaster HRT announced that the withdrawal was due to the current financial crisis and the bad results achieved by the country in the recent participations to the contest.
It is a fact that Croatia has obtained irregular results and that the introduction of the semi-finals has left Croatia out of the final many times. The last time that Croatia qualified to the final was in 2009 with Ljepa Tena, performed by IgorKukrov feat. Andrea.
