Today, PBS the Maltese broadcaster has revealed more information on their website about the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014.
On the 1st of November, PBS Chief Executive Anton Attard announced that PBS received a record breaking 210 submissions. Along with this news, he also announced that shortlisting of this number will be announced in mid-November. Today, it has been revealed that this list will be made available tomorrow at noon on PBS’ website.
Out of this list, the judges will then re-evaluate all the songs to pick the final 20 participants that will compete in this year’s national selection. The final 20 will be revealed live during the local programme Xarabank on Friday 29th November where the public will listen to a snippet of all the songs.
The participants will compete in the semi-final on Friday 7th February 2014 and 14 of them will proceed to the national final which will be held on Saturday 8th February 2014.
