Georgian broadcaster GPB has announced further details on the way in which the country's first ever Eurovision Song Contest entry will be selected.
As previously reported on esctoday.com, Sopho Khalvashi will perform all the songs in the Georgian final. However, now we also know that the number of songs she will perform will besix, rather than five as originally reported.
The show will be on the 11th February 2007, in Tbilisi, the Georgian capital. The show will be broadcast live and televoting alone will decide the winner of the inaugral Georgian national selection.
As a new country, Georgia will have to go through the semi final on the 10th May before they get a chance to proceed to the final on the 12th.
