Rete 3 and RSI the Swiss Italian broadcaster held an internal regional selection in order to select 3 candidates for the 2014 Swiss Eurovision national selection casting today. The lucky candidates that will fight for a place at the forthcoming 2014 Swiss Eurovision national final are Valentino Alfano, Sebalter and Jasmine.

All 3 acts will have to showcase their talent and vocal skills live in front of a special jury during a casting on November 30 in Zurich. One of them will then get the chance to compete in the 2014 Swiss national final in Kreuzlingen and fight for the golden ticket to Copenhangen.

Sebaltar

Sebastiano Pau-Lessi, aka Sebalter, was born in New Delhi in 1985. At the age of 6 he started studying violin and began stysthe studying music ,guitar and singing. After enjoying numerous musical experiences from 2002 to 2012 he became  the co-frontman violinist and co-composer of The Vad Vuc ensemble. He has been awarded  various important prizes and gained much recognition after  taking  part in various competitions: he won the  Palco ai giovani 2003 award with Vad Vuc and has given a concert at the Forum di Assago in Milan along with The VadVuc.

Valentino  Alfano.

Valentino Alfano, has a great experinece writing songs, and has done so for various singers. Especially for Mina for whom he has composed many beautiful songs after his first single in collaboration with Maxi-B, L’è vera, he will be releasing his own album at the end of autum.

Jasmine

Jasmine Mossier was born on March 28, 1995 and lives in Tenero. Music has always played a major role in her life. As a child she attended courses in classical guitar and singing. She has participated various song contests. She won  the first edition of the famous musical competition Fattore Voce and achieved a 3rd place in the 2nd edition of the show. Last summer she entered the Swiss version of the  world famous music competion The Voice aka  The Voice of Switzerland, where she has passed the first qualification round.
