The winning artist of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest Emmelie de Forest has been awarded the Mylle award by OGAE Denmark.
After her victory at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, the 20 year old Danish singer Emmelie de Forest has been celebrating yet another achievement.
OGAE Denmark, decided to make Emmelie the first recipient of their new Mylle award. Named after the famous Danish Eurovision commentator Jørgen de Mylius the award was awarded to Emmelie for her extraordinary contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest.
De Forest received the award last Saturday at a special meeting hosted by OGAE Denmark. Jørgen de Mylius was given the honor to present the award to Emmelie. Talking to DR, the Danish broadcaster, Emmelie thanked her fans for the continuous support.
The past year has been like a whirlwind, and it has been so wonderful to know that my fans have been there all the way with me, De Forest said.
