The list of entrants in the Swiss selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 is getting more and more diverse.

Now another singer/songwriter from the UK who has also performed in London’s West End musicals.

A J Lewis, from the United Kingdom’s capital city, London, has been on stage in shows around Europe, such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Show Boat, Jerry Springer the Opera, Dancing in the Streets and Thriller Live. He was also part of UK Channel 5‘s Don’t stop believing supergroup.

Last year he was unsuccessful in getting one of his compositions to the National Final in Ireland, EuroSong. Life Is Magic was next released as a Charity Single and can be seen here.

This year AJ and producer Chris Erhardt, who is based in Ireland, have entered Butterflies on the SRF on-line platform with hopes of getting to the Grand Final on 1 February 2014.

I attended my first Eurovision Song Contest in 1995, and from 1996 presented daily live reports for radio stations from the event. Since then I have been providing material from everywhere the contest has been held. I also enjoy compiling most of the video materials for three UK ESC events each year. In 2010 I first provided material for esctoday.com.
