TRM, the Moldovan  national broadcaster has informed esctoday.com that Moldova will most likely participate at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Denmark next year.  An official confirmation is yet to be made by the Moldovan  broadcaster regarding their participation next year.

Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Albania, Iceland, Ireland, San Marino, Georgia , Switzerland , The Netherlands,Estonia, Malta and Belgium have all confirmed their participation at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest next year in Denmark. Whilst Belarus , Montenegro, Ukraine and Latvia has said they will most likely be in the competition next year.

Moldova debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 and is yet to win the contest. The country’s best placing was a 6th place in 2005 when they debuted at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev with Zdob Si Zdub‘s Bunika Bate Toba!

Aliona Moon represented Moldova at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with her entry O mie, achieving a 11th placing in the final. Moldova has not missed a single contest since their debut in 2005, having competed a total of 9 times in the event.
