Fun-seekers at the Madrid Pride festival next week will be able to enjoy a few familiar faces of the Eurovision Song Contest, as the line-up features a sprinkling of former participants and hopefuls.

Spain’s 1985 entrant, Paloma San Basilio, will be kicking off the event on Wednesday, 3rd July, straight after which Operación Triunfo singer Chenoa, who was in the running to represent Spain back in 2002, will present her new single.

It’s not just Spanish performers in the focus, though, as later in the week, on Friday 5th July, Belgium’s 2006 semifinalist Kate Ryan will be performing on a late set from 22:00.
