Ding Dong! Krista Siegfrids, our 2013 Eurovision Song contest contestant from Finland took everyone by surprise by announcing that she has been invited by Channel 5 to perform in the annual Big Brother UK on July 7.

Krista seems delighted by her next adventure and is amazed by what she has been offered so far after appearing at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo this year. It was announced earlier that she will participate at the Stockholm pride in August along side other contestants.

Big Brother UK has been on TV for the last 14 years. Even if the viewing figures have dropped significantly since the first editions, the programme still enjoys popularity. According to iltasanomat.fi, the Finnish 2013 Eurovision hopeful will perform on  July 7.

Celebrity Big brother will air on Channel 5 as part of a two-year contract with Endemol. It will be the fifth celebrity series to air on Channel 5 and the eighth series of Big Brother to air on the broadcaster overall since they acquired the show. Emma Willis was announced as the host.

Jedward, 2011 and 2012 contestants for Ireland, entered the UK Celebrity Big Brother House in 2011 and made it to the final, finishing 3rd. Ulrika Jonsson, 1998 Eurovision Song Contest host alongside Terry Wogan, won the 2009 edition.
