The 2012 Romanian Eurovision representatives Mandinga are flying to London this weekend where they will give a concert at Club Unique on Saturday 15 June.

Mandinga represented Romania at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, Azerbaijan with Zaleilah, achieving a 12th placing in the final. The Romanian band will be treating its British fans with the best of their music this weekend when they will perform at a special concert in the British capital.

Mandinga has been enjoying fame and recognition not only at home in Romania but overseas too. Mandinga’s latest song Bling featuring Muneer is slowly and swiftly becoming very popular at home in Romania. The band enjoys fame and recognition in Spain, Azerbaijan and many other countries.

Romania debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 with Dan Bitman.  The country’s best placing at Europe’s favourite television show was in 2005 ( Luminita Anghel featuring Sistern) and 2010 (Paula Seling and Ovi) when the country achieved an honourable 3rd place.
