Bonnie Tyler, fresh from representing the UK at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, will be performing alongside other familiar faces at a singalong event in Sweden this Summer.

Lotta på Liseberg“, hosted by Sweden’s 1987 entrant (and beloved Melodifestivalen face) Lotta Engberg, will see Bonnie back in Sweden to join a packed programme of open-air Summer song. Eurovision fans will recognise not only Bonnie, but a string of other contest-related guests like Johnny Logan (Ireland 1980,1987), Björn Skifs (Sweden 1978,1981) and Lena Philipsson (Sweden 2004) . Lotta is clearly excited at the line-up, not least because she is joined by Curt-Eric Holmquist as musical master of ceremonies – Curt will of course also be familiar to vintage contest fans as a regular past conductor of Swedish entries. “It’s going to be a great Summer“, Lotta tells us, “just look at the guests this year!”.

The latest eight-show season of “Lotta på Liseberg” begins on June 17th.
