Italy: Marco Mengoni’s summer tour extended until October

Marco Mengoni, the 2013 Italian Eurovision representative has extended his summer tour L’Essenziale until October due to high demand and sell out concerts.

His pre summer tour kicked off on 8 May in Milan and concluded on the 1 June. The Italian artist flew to Sweden in between for the Eurovision Song Contest. After a month’s break he will kick off  his summer tour in Trento on 4 July. He will be on a busy and tight schedule well until  12  October when he concludes his tour in Torino.

The Italian superstar will also be attending the 2013 Italian MTV Awards ceremony on 15 June in Florence. Marco has been nominated in 3 different categories: Superman, Best Fan and Artist Saga. The show will be televised live on  MTV Italy at 21.10 on Saturday 15 June.

Marco is among Italy’s most sought after artists today, enjoying fame, name and recognition on home soil. He won the 2013 Sanremo Song Festival last February and has been on a tight schedule touring Italy. The Italian artist has a full schedule until next October: he has a massive line up of concerts scheduled in the forthcoming months as part of his pan Italian tour.

Marco Mengoni represented Italy at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with the song L’Essenziale, achieving a 7th placing.
