Cyprus: Boys & Girls to Bucharest

Luis Panagiotou and Christina Christofi will be representing Cyprus at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest at Bucharest with the song Agoria – Koritsia� ( Boys and Girls).

Cyprus’ national selection took place on September 30th and was broadcast live by television channel RIK 1. Both televoting and a jury were used, with a 60%-40% split. Two of the songs tied for first place with 90 points. Under the circumstances, Luis and Christina were declared the winners because they were favored by televoting against Prosefchi (Prayer) sung by Sotiris Charalambous. Luis and Christina were accompanied by six dancers – 4 girls and 2 boys.
