DJ Bobo has refuelled rumours about participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. In a television appearance on Saturday night in Switzerland, he claimed that it would be an honour to represent Switzerland at the annual event.

On the television show 'Die grössten Schweizer Hits' on Saturday night, celebrating 70 years of music, the Swiss public were invited to select their favourite song of all time. DJ Bobo, who has been touted as a potential representative for Switzerland several times in recent years was present on the show stated that he was ready to enter the Eurovision Song Contest. He told presenter, Sven Epiney that "it would be an honour to represent Switzerland".

In 2006, highly successful DJ and dance anthem maestro Daz Sampson entered for the United Kingdom, with Teenage life. He finished 19th, racking up another 25 points!

Due to Switzerland's poor showing in Athens, they will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest semifinal in Helsinki in 2007
