Lithuanian broadcaster LRT has announced that it will participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007.

A few days ago, LRT made announcements about the start ofthe new television season. This year, one of the newprograms is called Young stars ring (Ma�ųjų �vaig�d�ių ringas). During this show,young vocalists will be fighting for who is a better singer, having only one weapon:their song!

LRT further announced that from 2007 the show will change a little as during it, theselection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be introduced. The winners of each show will go on toa final, inwhich will be decided who is going to be the very first Lithuanian participant in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
