A hearty Eurovision Congratulations are in order for Belgium's 2004 song contest representative Xandee, as she just gave birth to a little girl.

Although the birth was in the calendar for October, everything went well, and both mother and daughter are doing fine. However, the unexpected arrival meant that Xandee had to cancel a concert scheduled for the weekend!

Xandee was a big favourite to finish in the top three of the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul, but ended up in a disappointingly low 22nd place. That same year, Xandee began her relationship with Gunter Boffin, the father of her new little girl and brother to the former international footballer Danny Boffin. Xandee was once again invited to take part in Eurosong 2006, the Belgian selection for Athens, but due to her song being released in another version in Japan, had to withdraw in favour of Barbara Dex and the song Crazy.

esctoday.com wishes Xandee all the very best on the birth of her baby!
