Andorra Telvisió has kicked off its selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 by asking writers, composers and singers to submit samples to take part in the selection which shall decide who will represent the country in next year's Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki. Samples can be submitted from 15th september to 15th december.

Both the song writers and the singers have to be older than 18. While the authors should be Andorran citizens, this is not required for the performers. The songs should be in Catalan and must not have been commercially published before the contest. At least one of the songs on the samples entered by the singers should be sung in Catalan. Furthermore, musical experience will be valued as well as fluency in Catalan and/or English.

The only way is up
Andorra is one of the six countries that has failed to qualify in every semifinal broadcast so far: In 2004, they came fifth from last, third from last in 2005 and last in the 2006 semifinal with Sense tu, sung by Jenny. Therefore, they will have to enter the semi final yet again in 2007.
