Belgian Eurosong contender of 1999 and 2006, Belle Perez, presented her new album Gotitas de amor (Tears of love) to the press at a special live event on Thursday in Deurne, near Antwerp.

Reactions to the new songs were positive, and the concert was well-received by press and other audience members alike. Belle looks likely to continue her commercial success in Belgium, after her previous album achieved platinum status. Not confined to national borders, Belle also tasted success in the Netherlands after releasing the album Que viva la vida (Long live life), which went gold.

Belle heads for Malta
The singer of El mundo bailando, which ended third in this year's Belgian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, will be appearing as a special guest on the Maltese show Pjazza tal-Rahal (The town square) on 29th September, after the Eurosong track was chosen as the theme tune for the programme

The website eurosong.be spoke with Belle about her recent activities and plans for the future. You can listen to the interview (in English) at this link.
