The Swedish singer Nanne Grönvall cancelled her entire tour schedule for this summer, after doctors confirmed that she has breast cancer. She is awaiting surgery at the moment.

The 44-year old swedish schlager star has participated in Melodifestivalen ten times since her debut, back in 1986, either as a singer or songwriter. Together with the group One More Time she came third at the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest with Den vilda. In 2005, Nanne finished second in Melodifestivalen with Håll om mig, only three points behind winner Martin Stenmarck.

We wish Nanne all the best and hope for a quick recovery!
