Norway sets its deadline for submitting songs for Melodi Grand Prix 2007.

The Melodi Grand Prix contest for 2007 will once again be an open contest were all nationalities are welcome to submit songs. NRK however, still reserve the right to choose the artist. In addition to the open contest, NRK will directly invite songwriters and artists.

The final submission date is 1st of September. A jury will work through September trying to match the selected songs with the right artists, and all composers will receive letters as soon as NRK made up its mind.
