The Russian selection for the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place on 4th June.

Russian broadcaster RTR received approximately 100 songs. After a series of regional castings, 31 participants were selected. On Wednesday they have to go through an audition again, 20 of them will make it to the final

The national selection takes place on 4th June and starts around 19:25 CET.
