For the second year running, the Maltese branch of the Eurovision Song Contest fans organisation OGAE (Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l'Eurovision) voted for the songs in competition at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. Malta was excluded from the voting.

The outcome of theMaltese fans voting was as follows:

Last year OGAE Malta fanclub members predicted a 1st place for Helena Paparizou (Greece)and 3rd place for Luminita Anghel & Sistem (Romania), while in a separate poll they predicted a 2nd-5th place for Chiara. However, they had also predicted a top-10 placing for Constantinos (Cyprus), Glennis Grace (Netherlands), Martin Steinmark (Sweden) and Nox (Hungary) all of whom ended in the semi-finals this year due to the disappointing resultobtained in last year's edition.
